About engelica

I am highly motivated and skilled young textile designer, specialising in embroidery. My design inspiration are often taken by spending my free time outdoors and surrounding myself to nature as it is a heavy influence on my designs.

I am particularly interested in techniques such as hand embroidery, beading, appliqué, digital and machine embroidery. Combining various hand embroidery and machinery process is vital when creating my own design compositions.

I express my drawings through mixed media and collage making to generate new ideas that I could develop later on. I am also interested in gold work, tambour beading, stump work and bead weaving which are still in practice and I would like to use these techniques for my future projects. Feel free to message me if you have any questions or would like to know more about my projects.
